After staying up late Friday night, Day 5 (Saturday) was again a late start. There were a couple of things I didn’t have a chance to check out everything in Epcot, so that’s where we started. Being the first weekend of Flower and Garden, the park was packed!
I was quite excited to find merchandise for my favorite British tv show , Doctor Who, in the Sportsman’s Shoppe.
Instead of battling the crowds, we headed over to Hollywood Studios and had lunch at Pizza Planet.
I love all the hilarious details in the Muppet’s courtyard. If only people would stop and enjoy them….
Oh Muppet*Vision 3D… The crates in the waiting area never fail to make me laugh 🙂
Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular….
And last, but most certainly not least, my favorite thing in all of Hollywood Studios, One Man’s Dream.
I love the Granny’s Kincaid cabin model from So Dear to My Heart. One of the few things in WDW created by Walt himself, it truly is beautiful.
“M-I-C-K-E-Y-M-O-U-S-E” (You know you sang it)
Even though is it just a replica of what it was like in the 60s at Walt Disney Studios in California, Walt’s office is another one of my favorite things in the whole exhibit. I spent a while staring at what would have been his daily view. Very fascinating.
The opening of Walt Disney World by Roy O Disney in 1971.
I could spend all day looking at all the items on the D23 shelf. So many cool books and things.
A great reminder of everything Walt believed in, this quote is perfect to end with.
Just one more recap post left! Come back soon to hear all about the new Festival of Fantasy parade.
